Types of Leave
Leave type in HeeRee can have the following properties:
- Require or do not require credit in order to apply
- Paid or no pay
- Maximum number of leave per year
- Show or do not show in Leave Entitlement Page
An example of leave type that requires credit in order to apply is Annual Leave. A staff can
only apply annual leaves when he has available credits of annual
leave. The administrator would usually credit annual leaves to all
staffs just before a new calendar year starts.
An example of leave type that does not require credit to apply is Hospitalization Leave. A
staff need not have any credit for hospitalization leave before he
can apply it. However, the administrator can set the maximum number
of hospitalization leave per year that any staff can apply.
Leave credits of all leave types can be set to be displayed or
hidden from staff view in the Leave Entitlement Page. Usually
you would hide those leave types that do not require credits in
order to apply.
