What is PC Remote Shutdown?
Aquarius Soft PC Remote Shutdown
Professional lets you instantly
or automatically power up, shutdown and control your networked PCs from a central PC running the PC
Remote Shutdown Pro Server software. With one button press, you can
power up, shutdown, reboot, log out, lock up, run the screen saver or turn off the
monitors of those PCs in the network that are running the PC Remote Shutdown
Pro Client software.
The solution is designed for the following

Scenario 1: Manage Internet Cafes Computers
The PC Remote Shutdown Pro
solution is can be use in Internet cafes to controls the PCs that are used by
customers of the Internet cafe.
The central control PC will
install the Server software and all the customer PCs will install the Client
software.
When a customer book a PC to
use, the staff will assign him a PC, unfreeze the PC using the Server software
and set the amount to time to automatically freeze it again.
When the usage time is up,
the PC will automatically be frozen again to stop usage without the staff
needing to approach the customer. The freeze window can be set to display a
message to tell user to kindly go to the counter to make the payment if he wants
to continue to use the PC.
For convenience, the staff
can also set a timer to automatically shutdown all PCs at the end of the day.

Scenario 2: Conduct Computer Lessons In
School Computer Lab
The PC Remote Shutdown Pro
solution is can be use in school computer lab during computer lessons.
The teacher PC will install
the Server software and all the student PCs will install the Client software.
When the teacher wants to
talk to the entire class, he can freeze all the student PCs to stop the student
from continuing to use the PCs while he talks. When the teacher wants the
students to use their PCs, he then unfreeze the them.
At any time, the teacher can
send a text messages to any students.
At the end of the lesson, the
teacher can activate shutdown on all PCs.

"Freezing" PC to control PC usage
You can "freeze" client PCs that you do not
want others to access.
When a PC is frozen, a "freeze window" will
appear and cover up the entire desktop to stop PC usage. You can configure
the look of the freeze window.
This feature is useful in managing Internet
cafe PCs, classroom PCs and your children PCs.
One interesting use of the "freeze window"
is that it can capture the last screen shot so that you can know what your
student/child is watching on the PC just before freezing his PC! |
